SoundEase ("we", "our", "the app") is developed by Nixes. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how the app handles your information.

Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is created and stored locally on your device. It is never transmitted to our servers:

• Sound preferences and presets — your saved sound configurations.
• Tinnitus severity tracking entries — your daily logs.
• Frequency profiles — your matched frequencies.
• Trial start date — stored securely in your device's Keychain to manage the free trial period.

Analytics

SoundEase uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how features are used and improve the app. Firebase Analytics collects:

• Usage events — such as which sound types are played, features used, and session duration.
• Device information — device model, operating system version, and app version.
• Anonymous identifiers — Firebase assigns a random instance ID that is not linked to your identity.

We do not collect your name, email address, location, or any other personally identifiable information. Analytics data is used solely to improve the app and cannot be used to identify you.

You can limit analytics data collection by enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" in your iOS Settings.

In-App Purchases

SoundEase offers a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs the purchase transaction.

Free Trial

SoundEase offers a 3-day free trial of premium features for new users. The trial start date is stored locally in your device's Keychain. No account or personal information is required to start the trial.

Third-Party Services

SoundEase uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage analytics. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
• Apple StoreKit — in-app purchase verification.

We do not use any advertising or ad-tracking services.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data to third parties. Anonymous analytics data is processed by Google Firebase under their data processing terms. No personally identifiable information is shared.

Children's Privacy

SoundEase does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app does not require an account or any personal information to use.

Data Retention and Deletion

All app data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all data at any time by deleting the app. We retain no data on any server.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
